STEM Volunteers

Program Overview

In 2019 MWT had volunteers working on the ground with the SMAT Sistas robotics club in Port Vila, Vanuatu. This club has been running for a few years but always has a need for volunteers, especially volunteers who have technical skills they can share in engineering and computer programming. MWT’s aim is to partner with robotics teams in other countries to support this worthy and successful club in Port Vila, Vanuatu. In the future MWT hopes to plant more robotics clubs for girls in other Melanesian countries so more and more girls have opportunities to learn hands on engineering and programming.
