Rural Health Education
Rural parts of Melanesia struggle with health care. Shortages of facilities, doctors, medicines, and supplies are almost always in short supply. The rural areas are often neglected by the stretched thin government and its resources. Our rural health education programs will focus on water and sanitation which are of the most basic safeguards for health, yet are still sorely lacking. Education around basic clean water along with good sanitation practices will be provided in villages which are willing to make changes and learn about these benefits.
